8 October 2007 Meeting Minutes
Hello Everyone
Here are our minutes from 8 Oct 07.
1. Future meetings to be at Jess's, unless members not present object.
2. Andy has been invited to be a member. He can choose how he wants to catch up to the rest of us in terms of contributions (£100 so far).
3. Frieze and Zoo this weekend. Various members going to both.
4. Matthew will prepare a simple financial statement for next meeting.
5. We will join 'Blood' (create, commission, collect is their tag line) - group all present would like to join. £90 annual membership. Will get us invited to shows and help us meet artists.
6. Jess (reluctantly) agreed to take money out of the collective fund for the lovely and simple spread she puts on for the meetings. We (mainly Nicky and I) greedily devoured nearly every morsel.
7. We agreed monthly amount should stay at £25 for now.
8. The current buying group will wrap up their tenure in a week or so – so far have spent just under half of their budget of £450. Lovely triptych was purchased for £220 including frame.
9. Any overspend must be brought to the group for approval.
10. Next buying group for October, November and December will be Jess, Nicky/Jamie, Matthew.
11. Rachel will send Matthew the invoice for the triptych when the artist sends it to her, and he will pay.
12. We all got art to take home!
13. Next meeting first week in December. Does the 5th work for everyone? Jess's 7:00?

We made our picks
This evening the Collective met and chose which prints to have framed. I had forgotten a lot of the images, there are some beautiful ones there.
